J'ai découvert Glenmor il y a 40 ans, un peu par hasard, en écoutant le disque Cet amour Là. Depuis, sa voix grave et envoutante ne m'a plus quitté ... Dans cette voix, il y a la Bretagne, il y a la révolte, il y a surtout la quête de la Bretonnitude ... Comment peut-on encore être Breton au 21e siècle ? pour paraphraser le titre de l'essai sur la démocratie française de Morvan Lebesque.

Et derrière cela, l'amour viscéral de la démocratie ... Mais il y a le Pays qui exporte les droits de l'Homme, du Droit des Peuples à disposer d'eux mêmes et autres Grands Principes, et le Pays qui pert toute crédibilité en refusant de les appliquer chez lui ... Aujourd'hui, le plus petit chanteur, dès qu'il pousse la note, se retourne effrayé voir s'il n'est pas suivi (Alain Barrière, Mon Pays, 1978).

I discovered Glenmor 40 years ago, by chance, in hearing the record Cet amour là. Since this moment, his deep and enchanting voice never more left me. In this voice, there is Britanny, there is the revolt, there is above all the search for Bretonnitude ... How is it always possible to be Breton at the 21th century ? by rewording the title of the essay on the French democracy of Morvan Lebesque.

And behind this, the love of democracy ... But there is the Country which exports the Human Rights, the Rights of People to self determination and other Great Principles and the Contry which losses all credibility by refusing to applying them at home ... Today, the smallest singer, as soon as he sings the first note, turns over, frightened, to see if he is not followed (Alain Barrière, Mon Pays, 1978).
